Intersolar South America became the 5th Intersolar event, the world's leading exhibition series for the solar industry. The international exhibition and conference for the South American solar industry takes place at the Expo Center Norte in São Paulo, Brazil on August 22-24, 2017 and has a focus on the areas of photovoltaics, PV production technologies, energy storage and solar thermal technologies.
The Intersolar South America exhibition is as its previous editions a mirror of the global solar market. With more than 11,500 visitors and over 1,500 conference attendees at Sao Paulo's Expo Center Norte, Intersolar South America 2016 attracted more than double its expected attendance, making it South America's largest solar exhibition and conference.
Building on our established partnerships with the Inter-American Development Bank (IDB) and with Intersolar, ARE, Alliance for Rural Electrification, will organise and implement a half-day information and mobilisation Workshop on Off-Grid Rural Electrification on 22 August 2017 (14:00 - 18:00) to bring energy access to the next level in LAC.
In the presentation: “Smart Renewable Energy: Industrial Micro/Mini-Grid Concepts & Technologies / PV / Storage Systems” (15:00 - 16.00), some high-level speakers from the public and private sector, including Moisés Labarquilla, Innovation and Operation Director GFM, will share their experiences and know-how.
